This song was an attempted collaboration with Dave Caswell from When Day Descends and DIE, sort of making it an unfinished DIE b-side. We had a few vocal sketches done and some lyrics written but never finished them. Being an instrumental now, it's much more similar to WDD's first few releases that were all instrumental, particularly since Dave wrote the majority of the riffs here and I played most of them just how he wrote them, sans any of my secret blend of herbs and spices.

Another goofy story about this recording: I had bought/created a PC to record with and put it all together around this time and on top of it being randomly unstable due to incompatible RAM for years, it also had a fan that was so loud it might as well have been a jet engine. Loud PC fans are a bane to the home audio engineer's existence, and there is a flute recording on this song that is supposed to be very, very quiet. Countless, torturous hours were spent trying to minimize the PC fan noise of those damn flute tracks, only for this song to hardly ever see the light of day thanks to a sparse internet release...just another day in the office for the lonely home audio engineer!
