Justin Haile and I met at Enfamy Productions in I believe the summer of 2006. He walked up through the parking lot, unusually shirtless and bearing his blinding, fish belly white complexion (with absolutely ZERO tattoos), and introduced himself to me while yelling at Etheric Mike that his tire went flat on his car and since Mike didn't pick up his phone, he had to walk the rest of the way. This would prove to be a fateful meeting as Justin and I would begin a long time artistic and musical kinship, as well as becoming goofball buddies. I recorded his band Etheric Plague in 2007 at Enfamy, which can only be described as one of the most hap-hazard recording sessions that I've ever been a part of. We also began the game of "check this riff out!" and jamming with each other in the studio, which were the seeds for this project being planted. Lots of late night/early morning sessions, usually ending with going to Burger King for breakfast.

After recording the first three songs, we released this on Myspace but then recorded a newer song and released it again. Justin's friend Rob was integrated into the band on vocals at some point and we tried to get a whole lineup started but it didn't pan out. We managed to play one show as a trio with Rob while using drum and bass tracks (footage exists, it's cute but also very stupid), and then Justin and Rob played a show as a duo a few times when I moved out of Florida. There is a version of track 4 with Rob on vocals, and he actually wrote the majority of the lyrics for that one, but eventually we re-did it with my vox for whatever reason.
